Taking a form and shape that is dependent on how they feel, live techno band Elektro Guzzi creates a freeform techno landscape. Their latest track ‘Okra’ released via Palozzo is a distorted and energetic club banger to absorb yourself in for a night of liberation. ‘Okra’ will feature on their upcoming album Triangle which is set for release on the 18th of March. Along with this release, the band have also unveiled an energetic video for the track.

In an interview with Techno Music (read the full interview here), the band shared how their production style has evolved: “In the past, we had many different approaches to creating a new album, like composing and having concrete tracks before we go into the studio. This time we wanted to capture the pure energy which we also create live on stage. So we met in the studio without prepared material to record different tracks which are created in the moment of playing together. After that, we just mixed the tracks without overdubs or any cuts.”
An act that certainly onto something exciting in terms of their avant-garde approach to their production technique, we can’t wait for the new ablum. Elektro Guzzi is an act that is bridging the gap between techno and organic textures one beat at a time. ‘Okra’ is a jagged yet melodic rush for techno fans and electronic music connoisseurs with a passion for more detailed and delightfully peculiar soundwaves.
