Yung Saber shows us his world in his new ‘No Photocopies’ EP

Yung Saber has returned with his latest EP, No Photocopies, on February 15, 2024, through his imprint YUNG SABER MUSIC. Having garnered over 10 million streams across platforms, the UK Dancehall star gained prominence in 2021 with the global hit ‘Tump & Kick.’ He continued to make waves with remixes featuring Stylo G and a lineup of UK Dancehall heavyweights such as Big Zeeks, Shanti Force, The Rara, Doktor & Irah. Saber has graced prestigious events like MADE Festival, Glastonbury, and Notting Hill Carnival, and has been featured on BBC radio shows including Rampage, Seani B, and BBC 1Xtra. Influenced by Super Cat and Vybz Kartel, his musical style resonates with artists like J Hus, Govana, MoStack, Not3s, Krept & Konan, and Yxng Bane. In February 2023, he showcased his talents in a live band performance of ‘Karl Kani’ during the BBC Maida Vale Session with Seani B.

No Photocopies spans seven tracks, five of which include collaborations, creating a rich and diverse musical palette. Yung Saber effortlessly showcases smooth vocals across various themes over infectious, rhythm-heavy instrumentals. From the spiritually reverent ‘Give Thanks’ with Akelle (WSTRN) to the impactful dub-laden ‘System’ featuring Guinny Pepper & Tippa Ire, the EP pays tribute to the Jamaican diaspora while highlighting Yung Saber‘s versatile artistry.

Yung Saber shared: “In this project I explore my sound and paint the picture almost like a movie. This project shows growth within me as an artist and my potential to become one of the biggest names out of Dancehall made in the UK.”
