We’ve been following along alongside munro’s journey for the past few months, writing about his most recent releases, specifically his single ‘About You’ as well as the official music video. Back with another offering, producer munro has delivered an internally contrasting double single titled ‘Butterflies + Pineal’ under the Quality Goods Records imprint.

The first track of the double single flutters among blooming drum patterns and lush vocals, while the second offers a more danceable palette. “I wanted to lean back into the club side of dance music, that I’ve been missing so much as of late,” he shares. Listening to the record, we can certainly say that he hit his mark, striking a balance between a high-octane groove and a reflective atmosphere. It’s as if the song is a mirror of the artist himself.

The producer has been building an extensive list of accolades. Accumulating write-ups from popular music news channels like CLASH Magazine and thissongissick, the New Zealand-born and based musician has most recently had his music picked up by the publication NOTION Magazine, where he received early support for ‘Butterflies + Pineal’.
