Hologramme’s new song ‘Candid’ evokes festival energy

‘Candid’ is the title of Canadian producer Hologramme’s latest release, and to tell you the truth, it’s a good one. For a moment, picture standing in a densely packed crowd, staring at blazing white light beams as they pulsate overhead, setting the crowd alight. This is what listening to the record is like. There is this distinct festival feeling about it. Something big. Something alive and memorable. It is uncanny.

Perhaps this is because he recently performed at Timeless Festival in South Africa and is readying himself to put on a show at Piknic Electronik in Montreal in June. Could it be that he is gearing his music toward fans of live shows? Who knows. But it sure sounds that way.

“I’ve been working on this new record for a year now,” he shared. “It’s finally done, and I’m fucking hyped about it. Pure instrumental electronic music, goddamn astral travel, gear porn, deep basses, and high BPM club-ready. Unbothered and unapologetic. It’s my finest work so far.” Listen/Watch the single below.
