Indie pop musician Ormiston has unveiled a remix EP for his previous album Hammer Down, which has been released today via Lisbon Lux Records. The release features several remixes from the likes of electronic musician Das Mörtal, as well as French House musicians Fred Falke and French Fox. Ormiston is an eclectic electronic musician that leans toward more indie soundscapes. His electric compositions shine through each remix with grace.

Fred Falke previously commented on the remix he did for the single: “The original song had such a cool vibe that I was immediately inspired to pull out some of my old analog gear.  I used my beloved Yamaha CS80, Llinndrum and an Ensoniq ASR-10m to make the instrumental sounds – like a time travelling machine in the studio”.

Calling to mind the charm of the disco era and French Touch scene, this latest mind-bending release is funk laden throughout. This entire EP is the perfect soundtrack to start off your weekend on a positive and relaxing note for sure.
