Electronic composer Douran’s ‘Inertia’ is turned into a dancefloor banger

With synth notes bubbling from the beginning, the build of the remix of up and coming composer Douran’s original single ‘Inertia’ is an immaculate re-imagining from renowned music producer Gui Boratto. Douran is known for having a flair for theatrical musical composition, and has even gained the attention of artists like Solomun & Henrik Schwarz.

The original ‘Inertia’ mix has been labelled by RCRD LBL (read feature) as “Jaw Dropping”. We cannot disagree with this statement at all, as one cannot feel spellbound by Douran’s sonic arrangements that are overflowing with the enthusiasm of an entire orchestra . RCRD LBL previously mentioned, “Dramatic is an understatement when describing Douran’s music as his latest single ‘Inertia’ puts on a whole production of sound waves within the span of just over three minutes.”

Gui Boratto somewhat slows down the progressions of the original master. He makes it his own synth electro dancefloor masterpiece with the foundations of the original structure still evident.  So instead of imagining a night watching Douran’s impressive one man orchestra, we are rather picturing a night at the local electronic lounge hang out spot. Either way, the vision of Douran’s theatrical tone still shines in this remix.
