With a desire to explore the club sphere more musically, artist Joris Delacroix has unveiled his latest work ‘Unexpected’ via SmallFishBigSea. With a vibrant arrangement of elegant synth notes and a  deep house base, the producer adds spirited techno beats into this latest track which creates a seamless fusion of these traditionally contrasting electronic genres.

Nonetheless, one should always anticipate innovation and evolution in the producer’s sound after hearing previous singles ‘Homie’, ‘Early Hours’, and ‘Need Your Attention’. We see a gradual shift of more hybrid sound fusions and we could not be more delighted. Each track is so unique in terms of mood, but the overall elegance factor does not lack in either of these singles. A well-established producer Joris Delacroix continues to follow his musical bliss and aspirations with panache and talent.

Joris Delacroix talks about how the track came together:  I just wanted to do a track calibrated for dance floors I can easily play in my dj sets, but it doesn’t forget to be emotional, especially with an euphoric moment at the end bought by the constant progression in it. I named it that way because just before I started producing it, I was kind of in a blank page phase, and this track idea just came out of nowhere, at a moment I didn’t expect it anymore, and I actually composed it very quickly!”.
