The mind-expanding musician Super Plage shared his new single ‘NYE’ via Lisbon Lux Records on the 20th of January. The electro-pop artist dips his inspiration in the sounds of Robert Robert and Flavien Berger just to mention a few. His music has notably found a place on Spotify editorial playlists borderless and Oracle, among others.

‘NYE’ treads a blissful line between the whimsical and illusory with its echoing electronic synths that are highlighted by soft Hit-hats which accord the song an incredibly nostalgic quality that is chased over and over again after listening to the song. The mid-tempo synths are light and correctly aligned to induce relaxation and feel-good emotions, however, the track is dance-focused to its core without promoting auditory fatigue.

Montreal-based Super Plage tells us about the significance of ‘NYE’ and his hometown with these words: “This 4th single really sets the tone for the upcoming album ‘Magie à minuit’ with its dark yet exhilarating mood. It is about the thrill that comes from partying late, which is the very essence of this album which is dedicated to Montreal’s nightlife. It should also make you dance”.
