Out with another dance track, Florian Picasso has released ‘Unwind’. The record follows soon after his previous release, ‘The Edge’, which dropped in May. The great-grandson of the late Pablo Picasso is working to build his own legacy, of which his move to establish a record label, La Californie Musique, is a part. Notable, the label founder has earned support from tastemaker publications like DJ Mag France and CLASH Magazine and is now featuring on DV8.

‘Unwind’ is, in a nutshell, anything but a bashful track. Beats hit you in the face without so much as saying sorry. Hats layer to give the track the sense that things are building. Then the track winds down before the drop, creating the illusion of calm. But don’t be fooled; the track is only just getting started.

He tells readers: “As the festival season is around the corner, I felt like creating a big dance floor, energy-packed record. I think DJs will appreciate the shifts of different drops in this one.”
