On May 9th, Rhythm Avenue released Alexa Perl’s latest single, ‘All The Ladies (Rhythm Avenue)’, a disco house track featuring vocals from Katie Holmes-Smith. The Los Angeles-born producer and DJ, whose real name is Brooke Perlman, began her production career in 2024. Her earlier single ‘Deep In My Soul’ held the top spot on the Traxsource charts for four weeks straight, earning plays from artists like Folamour and The Shapeshifters. Perl’s discography also includes the Jamelia-sampling ‘Superstar’, the Liberty X-inspired ‘Give Me More’, the piano-led ‘Say My Name’ with Phebe Edwards, and the Christina Aguilera-reworked ‘What You Do’. ‘All The Ladies (Rhythm Avenue)’ comes in two versions: the original and an extended Club Mix. This summery disco house track features Katie Holmes-Smith, a session vocalist known for collaborating with artists like Adele, Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue, and Ed Sheeran. She delivers a reimagined version of Destiny’s Child’s ‘Independent Women’ chorus, layered over 4×4 house drums, disco guitar riffs, and a bold bassline. The production echoes influences from Modjo, Armand Van Helden, and Purple Disco Machine, making it a standout for dancefloor playlists.
